Default IT Jobs

Sorry, I know this thread has been mentioned a few times already. I currently live in NY and looking to move to Clayton and would like to work in the Triangle area. I have 14 years of IT experience in the Helpdesk, Desktop Support arena.

I have started sending out some resumes to get a feel for things, I am using someones NC address so they would think I am a local because I was told out of state resumes dont really get considered.

I know the job market is bad all over and NC is also feeling it. My latest experience has been in Hospitals, so I am checking out Wake med, and Duke Medical.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Good luck. There are jobs out there but they can be tough to get. One place I know has quit using their temp IT people and another firm is pushing theirs to do work for other companies.

You could try the state of nc (OSP Portal), they might have a few things there. Hiring can take a few months if those positions weren't frozen last week. Our IT vacancies were frozen, NO hiring and NO exceptions.
