Default Any Metal Fabricators/machine shops around RTP

Hi,
I am lookin to find some of the big machine shops around here, the ones that possibily do business with Boeng, Cat., military work...etc
Can anyone recommend anything? even the smaller ones will do and they don';t have to be in Raleigh they could be outside too.
Thanks

You could try Macawber Metal Works - Custom Metal Working They're located in the Knoxville, TN area. Do pretty good work.

There are a couple of places in downtown Durham, and one I can think of near downtown Raleigh. Maybe A-1 on Gear St in Durham. Try there, and then maybe they could point you in the right direction if they can't do it.

Umstead Industrial Park has several shops I believe, not sure on the scale of the work they do. I have only seen them as I pass through to a generator repair shop I use for work. The area is located on HWY 70 towards Raleigh (if coming from RTP/540).

Chesson Machine Company on 401 South. The address is in Raleigh, but it is closer to Garner, just before Wake Tech. My father owns it and has been in the business for longer than I've been alive. He currently does work for Boeing. What kind of work are you looking to have done?
