I beg to differ. Cary is not "to darn expensive" and unsupported. Each and every buyer that buys a home in Cary supports the price. Its that simple. I guess I don't understand the point you are trying to make.
I hate Cary with a passion (it is not my style in the least) but a lot of people like it and want that kind of life. It would take more than 1000 layoffs of send it down the tubes. While it is a commuter town the places the people commute to are different, it is not like a Detroit suburb where everyone there is involved in a single employer or industry.
Cary will maintain cause prices there are fair for that kind of life. Prices in an up and coming neighborhood like mine will go up, as there is room for that as things improve. Some people will run into issues because the houses were over valued, I have heard of this in ritzier ITB Raleigh neighborhoods.
