New high school near Apex? (home, neighborhood, buy)

Does anyone know what the status is of the new high school that WCPSS plans to build on Humie Olive Rd near Apex? I was thinking of moving into Abbington and I'm hoping that the kids there get to keep their current school assignments. Thanks ahead of time for any information!

There is no guarantee that assignments would stay the same in any Wake County neighborhood regardless of when any new school is constructed and comes online.

Abbington has had volatile assignments over the last 7 or 8 years.

You simply cannot buy a home in Wake County based on what you would hope or expect would happen with school assignments. Sorry if that is not the answer you were hoping for.
