Default NCSU Apartment - Individual Leasing

Hey not sure if many nc state students check this but.....My sister is looking for her first apartment, she actually is going to Wake tech, but wants an apartment in the NC State area. Was wondering if anyone had an idea of a cheap, safe apartment complex that offers room by room leasing. I know it will probably be a little cheaper if she arranges a roommate(s) and works out rent between them but I think with it being her first apartment and her handling all the financing, she would be better off with a place that she only has to worry about her own rent. Thanks!

Wolf Creek has a great reputation. There are a few more, but that's the only one I have had personal experience with as I had a family member live there.

Just wanted to add good thinking renting from a place where you rent rooms. It's legally less messy should any disputes arise between roommates and she won't have to worry about her roommates finances affecting her.

I second that an individual lease is a smart idea, however she may lose some control over who roommates are. Try Lake Park Condominiums off of Avent Ferry and Lake Dam. Some of these are individually owned so the lease terms may vary. Rooms are small but there are walk in closets and individual bathrooms.
