I remember Wake County advertising incentives for purchasing and updating historical homes. By doing a quick search, I found that owning a historical home gives you a tax break of 50% annually on your property taxes, but I haven't been able to find any additional incentives. Maybe I'm just too excited it's Friday and can't concentrate, but does anyone have any information regarding additional local or federal government incentives for historical properties?
