its only a "Free Expression" wall if you express an opinion that is popular. It seems that if you express an unpopular opinion, you get it erased.

Censored Expression wall is more like it

Wait, who censored whom, I'm confused here. Are you complaining about the defacement, or about the covering over of the defacement? Or are you referencing the racist stuff written there around the election?

I would think that as tasteless as the racist things and mustache on Kay Yow was, even Obama and Kay would defend the right of those who did it in the forum that it is supposed to be "free expression"

Now if the Chancellor or whoever says, "this is not approved Free Expression" and paints over it, that is censorship. So if someone writes that the chancellor sucks and should be fired on the wall, should it be painted over?

They periodically "erase" the tunnel anyway with new paint. It was cool 16 years ago when I was there but now I'm ready for it to go away entirely. Let people use their Facebook pages or whatever to say what they want to say....

It's a college I am not suprised or in horror something got defaced. Kids are stupid.
