I'm so glad this thread was brought back, missed it the first time. I love al fresco dining and drinking.

We ate (inside) at Caffe Luna last night and I noticed they had their seasonal outside dining going on. That place has to be one of my favorite spots in the whole area for the money. We had gone down to First Friday after seeing someone mention it on the what is happening this weekend thread. I noticed a bunch of places at City Market with people eating outside: Zydeco, Woody's, the Italian place. And over on the other side of Moore Sq there were a lot of folks outside Tir Na Nog (and maybe the Chinese place?).

Over here in Cary, there is an outside seating area at both Saffron and Nikos Taverna, although I'm not sure if they always use it.

Even some of the places at Streets of Southpoint have outdoor tables.

When I worked at Centennial Campus at NC State, we'd often eat outside at lunch at Sammy's or at East Village.

And there is always Char Grill

I'm sure I'll think of more.

The Raleigh location closed last week.
