As our story continues....

In October I sold my house in Cary, in preparation for relocation to Austin. As timing worked out, I ended up needing to rent an apartment for 5 months. I was not happy at the prospect (though thrilled that the house sold quickly) because the apartment I rented briefly when I moved here was...well,I couldn't wait to get out of that complex.

I landed in the Marquis at Silverton (Evans Road/Cary Parkway), and have been very pleased. The office staff is pleasant, attentive and responsive. They have been very accommodating of my constantly changing relocation schedule. Dana, one of the two maintenance guys, gets a burr under his saddle blanket and won't quit until something is fixed, and fixed right. The grounds are well maintained and well lit.

In Austin, I'm renting at a sister property -- the Marquis at Caprock Canyon -- based in large part on my experience here and the corporate ethos of the CWS Management company.

So, if you're looking for a large but quiet, well-run apartment complex, and don't demand hardwood floors and granite countertops, consider the big-dog friendly Marquis at Silverton.

Sounds nice. I feel the same way about Northridge Crossings in Raleigh.

Great to find another happy renter.

Thanks for the great info! We're in the process of selling our house and we will need to rent for a while. It's nice to know about a complex that is pleasant to live in!
