Dr. Boaz, from TLC Family Dentists, has been absolutely wonderful for us! David E. Boaz, D.D.S. - Tender Loving Care, D.D.S., Home Page

For pediatricians, you're pretty much limited to Chapel Hill Pediatrics. In our experience, they are trying to accommodate waay too many patients and take forever (hours and hours) to see you, but they do a great job once you finally leave the waiting room and you get lots of individualized attention. Nice people.

Another good thing about Chapel Hill Pediatrics is that they are open 365 days a year. That is very reassuring if you have young children as there are some problems that require a visit to the ER if the doctor's office is not open. And no one wants to have to go to the ER if they don't have to.

Dentist - Dr. Mandy Ghaffarpour off East Franklin Street.

Studio G Aesthetic & Family Dentistry, Chapel Hill NC

As for doctors, my personal preference - I HATE using doctors that are part of UNC. It's just over-institutionalized medicine, and always a hassle to make appointments, get records, etc. It's a giant system. I'd much rather go with an independent practice.
