Question PICU Nurses

hey guys-

I am a PICU nurse looking to relocate to the triangle. I have been looking at the different PICUs in the area and have only found 3 (Duke, UNC and Benner) are there any others? Which one is the most acute PICU? Also, are they all dual PICU and CVICU combined? I am looking for a hospital that has seperate PICU and CVICU...I am not to fond of cardiac. Any input you have would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
M

I am assuming you mean pediatric ICU. If so, Wake Med has one.

I can only answer for Duke; the units are separate.
16 bed PICU
13 bed CICU
For more info, just google PICU Duke and you'll get an entire overview of their pediatric services. Hope this helps.
