this reminds me of those traveling carnivals and those pesky and sometimes scarily belligerant game vendors.

they can be really rude, almost demanding. i've even had one pick me out of the crowd and wave me over like i was obligated..trashy, con-like and pushy

i'm sure they aren't as bad as that. you must totally ignore them.

I've found that the kiosk vendors at Crabtree are not as pushy as Triangle Town Center. We were at Crabtree yesterday and not one even bothered us. When I go to Triangle they follow you and yell at you. It's a shame because some of these vendors have some products that some of us would purchase if they just didn't have those pushy and sometimes even scary sales antics.

I can understand that they are just trying to make it but they won't get the business (at least from me) when they are disrespectful and yell and run after me and try to put some stuff on me when I didn't ask for it. I think it is actually hurting the malls business. It's one of the reasons why I rarely shop at Triangle now.

And as for door to door sales people I agree....the only ones I open the door for are the Girl Scouts when they are selling their cookies

The vendors at triangle are the worst.I agree with the other poster that said con-like.They remind me of a group of gypsys pushing you to buy snake oil or something. The mall should have rules about this behavior. We didn't have that in the southwest where we moved from.It was strange when we first encountered them.

It wasn't that common at Southpoint either until the last 2 years. They were there, but they weren't as pushy as they are now.
