Default Mobile Vet in Chapel Hill/Durham?

We desperately need to get our cats to the vet but want to avoid the scratches and trauma that go with the visit. Does anyone know of a good mobile vet?

Hi Omamia,

I have always gone with mobile vets because I find it is less stressful for me, and for my cats.

I found a GREAT mobile vet when we moved to Durham last year. Her name is Dr. Regina and she owns Purr and Bark (mobile vet service). She is extremely comforting and loves animals. I found her prices very reasonable, and her mobile RV clinic is state of the art (includes pharmacy). She and her husband do lot's of rescue work too and even though they are super busy- she always call me back pretty quickly and spends whatever time is needed discussing whatever concerns I have.

You can contact her at drregina@purrandbarkvet.com or 919-676-9293. Google her website-lot's of info.

Best of luck

Thanks so much. That's super helpful. Our 10 year old kitty started drinking and peeing up a storm. I'm hoping for the best......

Omamia--Dr. Nan Henderson at Park Vet in Durham does house calls on selected days per week/month.

We've used her for our 3 cats, one of which is feral, and I don't think I'll ever go back to taking them into the office.......
