How are the public schools in the 5-points area? We are looking at a possible move to the area and this community looks wonderful!

Depends on what part of 5 Points. There are 3 base elementary schools, depending on location:
Underwood
Joyner
Conn
All 3 are magnet schools; I think Underwood and Joyner are generally better than Conn, IMO.

The Hayes-Barton section of Five Points goes to Lacy Elementary which is a great school as well. My kids go to Joyner and we are very pleased with the eduacation they are receiving.
