As always, great photos! I too would LOVE to live there. And all the mature trees are awesome.

Great pictures, NRG! I work just down the road from there, and my boss lives in the area. In fact, you have a picture of his house in your album - the one with the gargoyles. He's had a lot of work done on it, and is still working on the landscaping.
BTW, the restaurant next to the Rialto is called The Point - good food.
Thanks for posting all of your pictures! It so nice to see someone new to the area who is taking such an interesting in his new hometown.

5 Points/Hayes Barton is probably one of the most expensive areas in Raleigh. A quick search on one of the real estate sites shows a 1500-2000 sq ft homes going for $550,000. The larger homes go for a lot more than that.

As always, NRG, thanks for posting those photos. Wonderful! I keep meaning to visit the Dessertery. Maybe our next meet-up (after the one in Durham) should be in this area.

Great pics. I lived in Five Points during college and loved it! Of course, when I was there, NoFo at the Pig was actually a Piggly Wiggly grocery store where I'd do some shopping! NoFo is now a very funky and cool little market with a great casual restaurant downstairs.
