I was meaning to mention this earlier, but never got around to it. I love how this hockey team seems to bring fans of Duke, UNC, and State together. It's so funny watching a UNC fan high-five a Duke fan during a 'Canes game. Sidney Lowe and Tom O'Brien have attended playoff games this season. I heard Tripp Tracy say that many of this years UNC team are big Canes fans, and being a State fan, I dislike UNC, but can't hate on fellow Canes fans.

The players even get in on it as well. Rod Brind'Amour wears State hats after interviews, I've even seen him at a couple of State football games as well.

Where else can you have fans of rival schools becoming friends over an NHL team?

Ok, with that aside, i'm pretty nervous for game 7, keeping the faith though after what happened in the NJ series. Go 'Canes! I want a party at the airport at 1am, or whenever the team will get home.

Question! Since the Detroit game starts an hour early.... will Versus not show Carolina until the DET/ANA game is over?

Oh this is BS. That's what the versus website says. DET/ANA at 7 and CAR/BOS at 9:30. I sure hope they show regional coverage...
