Has anyone gone to the Shula's in Chapel Hill? If so, what is the menu and prices like? I'm assuming the atmosphere is sports oriented but is there a specific attire that should be worn?

The web site describes it as casual.

I've been to Shula's, and I highly recommend it. It's a great atmosphere with great food.

As far as attire, my husband and I always go casual (jeans and a nice shirt) and we fit in just fine. I've never seen anyone get really dressed up in there. Jeans or khakis should be just fine.

The menu is pretty big, and offers some great appetizers (I highly recommend the oak roasted salmon as an appetizer), steaks, burgers, salads, soups, pork chops, some seafood, etc.

It's not TOO pricey, but it's about $15 per person, on average. (Depending on what you order).

We went for Valentines Day (probably a bad choice as it was not very romantic). At any rate, the food was very good. The booth we sat in was very comfortable. The dress is probably business casual. They had a handful of 'group' rooms which would be good for parties and what not.

Good Luck,
Matt

I had a chance to check this place out. My recommendation: Skip it. It's okay, but (1) the atmosphere is quite "hotel-y" and (2) for the prices, you can do much better. Entree prices were in the mid-20s and up, although sandwiches could be had for less.
