I need someone to install an outdoor speaker for me next to my patio. Here is the lowdown:

The house I live in now is a new construction and before I moved in I ran speaker cable throughout the living room. One of these cables runs to an outside wall and was secured to be used at a later date (ie an outdoor speaker). Well I need someone to locate the speaker cable and then remove the vinyl siding and pull the cable to the outside. I then need them to attach an outdoor speaker to the outside.

I need at least this 1 speaker installed. I might do the 2nd one (which would require wiring unlike the first one) if price is reasonable.

Can someone recommend someone in the area who does this kind of service who is reasonably priced and very good?

Thanks.

Might be a not-too-difficult DIY project if you can borrow, rent or buy a tone and probe tool to locate the wire. (Might not be worth the purchase cost, though, for a one-use project.) Such a tool will send a probe down the wire you are trying to find, and then a detect that tone in the wire through the wall surface. Home Depot sells one, but again probably more than you'd want to spend to find one wire.

I agree with CHtransplant. This is a DIY project. There is really not much you can screw up. Once you find the wire use a peel tool to get the siding apart. (ask at home depot) You then have to connect + and - wires to speaker. Pre-drill holes for a bracket then mount. Use clear silicone to seal screws so that water does not penetrate the house. 1 hour tops.
