I love those frog noises. So much that I keep pointing it out to people, "do you hear the frogs?" And they look at me like I'm nuts...lol.

I'm so loving this weather because the windows are all open so we CAN feel the breeze and hear those frogs!

Lauren

I love the sound of them too... It's comforting somehow, and to me they are like white noise... They are in the background and remind me that I'm part of the *world* after being cooped up in an airtight house all winter.

Yay Spring! I'm starting to feel alive again!

The frogs kind of creep me out a little bit, when I'm walking my dog late at night or early in the morning and everything else is quiet and still, but I think they make a pretty sound. I've been telling folks back at home about them so thanks for the web link. I just sent it to them.

Yep! I believe at one of those country drug stores they sell Frog-inex!! Two pills and a rib-bit each night and your out like a toad in a pond! Your wet, floating and you sink if you can't swim!

My husband has been asking me "what's that high pitched noise?" I can't hear it at all, but it sure is making him crazy!

My daughter and I have named the tree frogs we hear at night. There's Bob the frog, Bob Jr, Bucky.... Now, she can't wait til bedtime to hear all the characters!

I'm guessing it's mating season, and it makes me laugh thinking Bob's out there making a racket to try to find a girlfriend.

We could build more sprawl and just take them over. Bump them into a foreign ecosystem that won't be able to sustain them. That would probably do the trick.

I just moved to E Tennessee from NJ. The noise out back in the woods is deafening after dark and through the night. I don't know what it is but seriously when I sit on our deck at night, whatever it is is very loud. Was wondering what they were also. My husband said birds but I am sure they are some kind of insect.

It's probably cicadas (and sometimes crickets).
