Anderson Homes
Going rumor right now is Anderson is the latest builder to find itself in financial distress, to the point of laying off dozens of employees and halting all warranty claims/repairs at this time. Anyone have any more info on this? Thanks.

I heard somthing similar this past weekend. I can't remember if it was trouble like you are saying or if they are on the verge of BK.

I believe it's bankruptcy. Most of their sales agents were let go and now some homeowners are getting liens from subcontractors. |

I was supposed to inspect one of their houses last week .It was halted by the buyer due to problems with the builder and the builders construction loan through Countrywide. Aside from that, I do not know any specifics.

Can't say I'm surprised, unfortunately the writing the on the wall for a few weeks. I feel bad for those that lost their jobs.
