A Place To Shred Confidential Paperwork
Is there any place I can bring all my confidential paperwork to be shredded. I have a ton and we are cleaning out on this rainy day.

^^^ Cool link.
CD, do you really have that much that needs to be shredded? I often have less than I realize. Just yesterday shredded a bunch of stuff in a couple of hours using a $15 shredder I bought from Walmart a few years ago. It just takes a little time to remove staples, paperclips, etc. but since it was raining it's not like I had anything else to do. Plus my three year old loved "helping".

My records go back to 1999.
Most of the places in the great and fun link are for businesses. I need to find some place where I can walk in and shred paperwork myself.

When I was in Charlotte, I think Charlotte or one of the surrounding cities did a shred day. Perhaps, one of the cities in the Triangle offers a similar day each year?
I know that's not an answer to your question but maybe it will jog someone's memory.

I actually took all our sensitive paperwork that needed to be destroyed and burned it in the (wood) fireplace this winter. That was a lot of fun.

Throw it in a burn barrel and burn it. I think today is a safe day to burn some papers.
