Question about Zebulon, Middlesex areas.
Everyone here was very helpful last year when I posted. We currently live in a small town in RI and are planning to move to NC as soon as our condominium sells. Our daughter and son-in-law live in N. Raleigh but are now building a home in Wake Forest. We loved the homes in Shamrock Pointe (Graham) and put a deposit on one last August anticipating our home would sell in six months. Our option ran out and we are still waiting to sell our home here. Graham seems to be over a hour from Wake Forest so we are considering finding a home east of there. We want to find a newer single level townhome or patio home with a garage in a small town. Online we saw some nice ones in Wakelon townhomes (Zebulon), Village Square in Middlesex and Stonegate Villas in Angier. Any infor about these subdivisions or areas. Also are there any other single floor homes like these that we are missing?
Thanks in advance.

Buckhaven on the north side of Fuquay Varina, by Bill Clark Homes.
Philips Pointe in Fuquay Varina.
Fuquay Varina is closer than Angier, but still a fairly hard drive to Wake Forest.
Not too bad for a visit, but wouldn't want to commute it.
You might consider North Farm Cottages, outside Clayton.
Now, I have never been there, and can't tell you anything about it or the builder, but the homes look similar in photos.
Back Roads to Wake Forest.

There are a pair of smaller subdivisions just North of Wake Forest you may want to look at. Mayfield (about 5 minutes from Wake Forest, in Youngsville) and New Forest (Wake Forest address but just inside Granville County, about 10 minutes from Wake Forest). They are not patio or townhomes. But they are recent construction, single level, w/garage, and at a comparable price point.
Good luck in the sale of your condo!

The Wakelon townhomes (Zebulon) look like they're really nice, but are right behind a very busy Sheetz (gas station). It might be a bit noisy for you.
Otherwise, I can highly recommend Zebulon! I've been living here for seven years, and love it.

Thanks especially to Clare. I should have said we want to look North and East of Wake Forest but within an easy 30 min. drive. We are still waiting for a buyer up here like everyone else.

Zebulon
Hope that you have sold your home. I moved from Westchester, NY to raleigh about 2 years ago. My husband and I found a great home in Zebulon last October. In a new development called Weaver's Pond there are currently 3 ranch transional homes lefted in our section. More than 5 homes have sold since moving here. Wish you luck with your search

Unfortunately we are still waiting to sell our home. We have narrowed our search to Zebulon or possibly the homes we liked last year in Graham although that is much farther away from where our daughter and son-in-law want to live.
I saw Weavers Pond on a search and it looks very nice. Nice to know you like Zebulon after moving south. Hopefully ours will sell soon and we will making a decision.

Highly recommend Zebulon. Ive been living here all my life (29 years) and sadly this is all I know! But no regrets..its a great small town! We recently moved and are about 15 min away from Wake Forest in small subdivision Perry Oaks. Currently there are homes for sale. We have lived here a little over a year and are very content. Good luck on your sale.
