It's across the street from Wal-Mart in a building on it's own. It is next to the Carolina Ale House and a few other small buildings (Mexican restaurant, dry cleaners, a new Bank of America-which I think you asked about in the past, etc.) And then across the street from that is another shopping center that hasn't taken off yet. Best Buy was supposed to be there. WARNING, parking sucks weekend nights and it is crazy busy. I rarely go for that reason (oh, and just don't go out much anymore period) and it is less than 3 miles from me.

I just moved to Raleigh in the Brier Creek area. The Wild Wing Cafe sounds great for music. Looking forward to checking it out. Someone here also mentioned Napper Tandy's in Raleigh. I would love to hear of other live music venues in the Raleigh area -- cover and/or original tunes...doesn't matter. Also, what about a jazz or blues place in the area?

I mentioned Napper Tandy's, and that's actually where I saw Sugar, the band that some other people have been talking about. St. Patty's day last year I think...

Amra's has live music all the time...it's on Glenwood closer to Hillsborough Street. I think they're having Sleeping Booty this Saturday, which should make for a great time. I've been there before during the week when they've had jazz trios, so I know it does happen. They make their drinks nice and strong too.

The Pour House typically has a pretty solid lineup. More bands that play originals from my experience.
