Default Bars

Now, on to the important matters...LOL.

Hey if you don't like bars skip my thread!

Otherwise, are there any that anyone can recommend to us. I like quiant places, martini bars, local places, some place that has decent beer (yes I'm a beer snob) and a choice of hard liquor as some days I might want Grey Goose on the rocks, some days I might want a Mojito, or a glass of good wine. I also love love love live music. Though I'm not a big fan of country, I dig bluegrass. Mostly, for those of you who have not yet figured it out I like jam bands such as the Grateful Dead, Dave Matthews type bands, Ben Harper and Jack Johnson and I like the blues too, and of course good ol rock and roll, especially the classic rock. I know everyone is going to say go to a college bar, but I live in a college town now, and I absolutely hate college bars. I would rather hang out with a bunch of old guys to tell you the truth. I'm going to miss my local dive.

Oh oh and when football season comes I'm going to need a good sports bar where I can heckle the players and not get thrown out. I'm not much of a lady when football is on.

Not sure where we will be living yet, but somewhere near Raleigh, Cary or Wake Forest, I am assuming. Do you all have taxi's? I didn't see any except near the airport.

Thanks a bunch! You guys rock.

Yes...not enough that you can "hail" them. Just call and order one up.
