I have called four primary care practices that either we use or friends recommend and none are accepting new Medicare patients, I am really kind of shocked! So wise City Data posters, do any of you know of any primary care practices accepting new Medicare patients. Thank you!!
Dr. Reyala and many others in the Duke system. Dr. Reyala is located in the Morrisville office. As a Medicare patient new to the area, I merely called Duke Health Care for references to find a doctor. Surprisingly easy and I believe that they all are required to take Medicare.
Yep. Just call the Duke Health Care number and get a list of doctors that are accepting new Medicare patients. Be prepared for the younger graduates with new practices or those physicians who may have accents and ethnicities that some older people find 'unacceptable.'
