Anyone use Capitol Pediatrics? (insurance, office, nurse)

Hi there...Am new to the area and looking for a Pediatrician practice for my kids. My insurance has Capitol Ped's as one of their providers and I was wondering if anyone had any input on them. We would most likely use the Wakefield location.Thanks!

We've been seeing Dr. Ryan there for almost 2 years and have been happy with him. We have always been able to get same day appts. when needed. My 15 month-old became seriously a few days after we moved here. Her initial care was through WakeMed/UNC; but, she needed weekly follow-ups with Capital for about 3 months. The office staff has also been good -- courteous, no billing issues, etc.

I've been very happy with them- we've seen most of the doctors on staff. I've never had a problem getting a same day appt.- usually within a couple of hours or earlier. They also have weekend hours. They are expanding and updating the Wakefield office right now.

Very good practice. We've taken our daughter there since she was born and have never had a bad experience-0 she'll be 5 in a couple of motnhs. They have office hours on both Saturday and Sunday mornings which anyone with kids know they never get sick in the middle of the day in the middle of the week.

Both my children are patients at Capitol Peds. We have been going since 2005. They are a great group of doctors, nurses & front office staff. We have never had billing issues and even when I do have a balance they are kind & understanding. I can get an appointment quickly when my kids are sick. Ive been to the Six Forks office once for an emergent weekend appointment & had a nice experience there as well. Weve seen most of doctors and nurse practioners and they are all really great.
