MCLARE is on a distinguished road
Default Operations Research in the Triangle

I was wondering if anyone knows of employers in the area that hire Operations Research engineers? I have put it into a few search engines but come up with nothing. Things like network flows, stochastic modeling, queueing theory, etc. Thanks.

I don't know of anywhere in this area that has a pure OR department, and I have an M.S. in OR. I would search for all the similar/overlapping terms, particularly Industrial Engineering, Management Science, Data Mining and Decision Support. In this area I would tailor your resume to focus on the statistical aspects of the degree and possibly focus on companies that are hiring statisticians, like RTI, Quintiles, and SAS. Depending on the job they do hire some folks with degrees in OR.

You also might want to keep an eye on the INFORMS: The Institute For Operations Research and The Management Sciences site and Jobs in Data Mining and Analytics
