Default Is channel lineup customizable in TWC DVR program guide?

I've got a DVR from Time Warner Cable, and I can't figure out how to limit the channels shown in the program guide. I really don't want to have to step through I bunch of channels that aren't in my subscription package, or ones I never watch like Nickelodeon. I can't find any way in the menus to set this. Surely there must be some way to do it. Please help.

In the Settings, arrow right to "Display" (on bottom row of menu options) then arrow down in that category to find the "Sort By Favorites" setting (I have the 8300HDC and that is the menu sequence on my model). There you can tell it to sort the Guide by Favorites first (of course you then need to set all the ones you do watch frequently as "Favorites") as opposed to all channels. Thats about the only setting I can recall that is similar to what you are asking about. I dont think you can otherwise control what channels specifically that the Guide shows.
