Thanks! Now the giant list of projects start. We need to paint the house. Paint swatches have already been obtained and compared. We need a storage shed. Going to buy one. Then I need to run an electrical connection to it. Then I need to "build" a raised bed for plants. Then I need to build a chicken coop. For this, I'm going to need to buy some saw(s) and a workbench too, perhaps. Then we need to build a patio. Gonna be a busy summer.

I would try Wake Forest or Garner. Those are both safe, family friendly areas.

Brentwood is an older area in a very convenient part of North Raleigh.

Some crime issues but not terrible.

Very good prices if you will upgrade a home that's older but built better than current production.

I live in the area and would look there first if I ever decided owning beats renting.
