Crossroads Mall will be closed on Easter Sunday. Sears will be open for your shopping convenience from 12:00noon to 6:00pm.

I'm headed to Sears.

Deal with the fact that at this time of reflection that you cannot uphold Jesus's teachings of humility and compassion?!

IMHO, all retail businesses should be open every day of the year. Why should we stop selling and buying goods because of certain holidays?

OTOH, why is Easter more important than Independence Day? Doesn't that wonderful event satisfy the need to give this nation pause and close everything down to celebrate?

christian traditions are just a userptation (real word?) of everything pagan
im a neo-pagan secular humanist (according to a facebook poll)
but i've studied a lot of history, and i really do get a kick out of how everyone's sacred stuff is really just the medieval catholic church screwing around with some pagan stuff, but now it's sacrosanct
