Default Places to buy Ceiling Fans?

Anybody know a good place to buy a ceiling fan in Raleigh besides Home Depot and Lowes? Nothing wrong with the quality of their fans (I have two from them already), but I am looking for something a little unique for our master bedroom and thought I would try and find a fan somewhere else.

Any suggestions?

You can try MASC Consulting and ask for Shelly. They are in Wake Forest, her number is 556-1311. She has very nice stuff.

Try some of the lighting stores. They cater to people who are building homes, and tend to have plenty of ceiling fans to choose from as well. That is where we got ours when building our house, and the selection was very good. Can't remember the name of the one we used, but it was in downtown Cary (nowhere near where we built, but it worked out for us).

There's a really nice lighting store on West Peace Street, at the corner of N. West Street, called "Raleigh Lighting". I have no idea if they have ceiling fans though, but give them a call and ask.

OUr builder had us pick out lighting at Stephens in Fuguay. Not the hardware store but the lighting store. They are only open M-F. what they don't have there they have in catalogs. Beautiful stuff!
