Where is Bunn, NC?
My husband and I were told that a nice place to retire is in Bunn. Where is Bunn and can anyone tell me about it? Housing prices, small job opportunities, people? Thanks

Just outside of Hotdog North Carolina. Bunn is the suburb that wraps around the town. Very nice place from what I hear. Sorta plain and slow compared to the town. The town can be spicy if you like that sort of thing.

Very few jobs in Bunn...there are just a few restaurants and a couple of small shops, plus a Food Lion grocery store. With the new Chinese restaurant and pizza restaurant, the number of restaurants in town nearly doubled.
I don't live there full time, but spent a couple of weekends a month at our home at Lake Royale, just outside of Bunn.

Not to hijack the thread, but are you happy with Lake Royale? Pros, cons?

What is hilarious is that I had never heard of Bunn when I wrote this Friday night. Went to the Farmers Market Saturday and there was a vendor from Bunn.
Perhaps I had seen and never gave it thought but now everytime I see the name I will think of this thread.
