Parking Wars: Durham (credit, neighborhood, live)

Last week I receive a parking ticket for parking in a loading zone . Silly me was thinking I had documents that I was dropping off and picking up I fit the definition of "loading" I dont know why I thought it would be ok but I did.

Now I am going to have to pay for my mistake I received a parking ticket but I already lost it. I think it is best to pay this off because I watch to much of that show Parking Wars and kinda paranoid.
Each week of non payment Durham charges an extra 10 bucks but do they boot?
What I mean lets say I go two months later in Durham do they have a way like on the show to detect unpaid tickets in case I go that route.
I want to pay it since I think it is best for me to pay it.
but do they boot your car the next time or tow it?


I need to find who to contact about the ticket being loss but the website is boogle with information I dont need any help?

I once got a parking ticket in a residential neighborhood near southpoint for parking facing the wrong direction on the street. At the time, this area was practically the boonies. I couldn't believe it. I never knew such a thing existed. I paid the ticket, but they never credited my payment correctly and tried to add further late charges, til I straightened them out. I cannot even belive a cop was out there. On a weekend no less.

That is wacked it must been a real slow day for that cop.

That is one of things I am concern about is my payment getting loss in the system

I wouldn't be too worried about Durham booting your car, but I would pay the ticket before the late charges accrue to some ridiculous amount. In Philly, where Parking Wars is taped, the ticket starts accruing a ridiculous amount of late charges after 7 days. It is very easy to go from a $41 parking ticket to a $300 fee (which is the benchmark for booting) in just a month or two.

Be happy it was a ticket not a predatory tow off a parking lot.
