I've been down here in Angier for five years now after growing up in Raleigh/Cary. Its a small town but the building boom is slowly trickling down this way. Its not to crowded yet, alot of Hispanics down here. You can commute to Raleigh from here w/o to much trouble just take 55 to 401 and 401 will take you into Raleigh. I40 isn't to far just shoot down 210 and pick it up down at McGee's X-roads. It's a fairly nice town but I don't know how its gonna be when they really start developing down here.

We were new to the area and ended up buying a home in Fuquay. We did look at Angier,, but found the "down town" to be a little on the dumpy side. The area is very rural and not much around,, however you can get a nice home for the $$.
Also, schools are in Harnett cty. and stats are nearly as good as Wake cty.
Good Luck
