I was disappointed today to learn our neighborhood pool will not be offering swimming lessons. We live in Carrboro. Anybody have recommendations about swim lessons-and not just some teenager with no credentials. Also what else would you suggest. They can't be outside very much because of allergic reaction to bug bites and intolerance of heat. I want them(girls) to have fun, be entertained, retain some learning skills and not bust my wallet.

what about the new pool that opened in chapel hill recently? I heard (from my mom) that it is really quite nice and reasonably priced.

My guess is they may have information about swim lessons. It is a community pool, probably run through the town.

What does intolerance to heat mean? Do they have a medical condition, or do they not like heat?
