Home Invasions/Shootings in Hillsborough Monday Night?
Anyone have information on the home invasions/shootings in Hillsborough as reported by nbc17? How often does this really happen?

Unfortunately, these types of things are happening more and more out that-a-way, Chapel Hill up to there. Some will not want to admit it, but it is reality. IMO, it's going to get a lot worse, because there are too many ostriches with their heads in the sand.  |

Man, Hillsborough is a great little town, but this one tiny section of town seems to have a huge problem with drugs, robberies and shootings.
Anyone who kicks in my door better have a pretty good bulletproof vest on...

The home invasion (year or so ago) out by my house had the home owner chasing the thug who kicked in his door. There were Duke power guys working on the line who laughed at the thug as the home owner took him down. This was in Hillsborough.... the only time I've seen an issue like this. The thug was not from our area. Most of the "problems" we've had out in our side of Hillsborough have been of the domestic type..... neighbor's fighting.... illegal hunting..... petty theft.... dogs barking.

well i have a security device installed in my home. it's a 12 guage mossberg fully loaded with 00 shot. If you come in uninvited, and you come towards me, and refuse to exit, and you keep coming towards me, well, I hope you make peace with you maker before I pull the trigger. My life or yours? Mine wins out, sorry.

their second warning will be the pumping of the shell into the chamber. if they still don't stop, well, then they made their choice.
i HIGHLY recommend EVERY US citizen be required to own a firearm but have training on it as well. That way, crime would plummet and people would not be getting raped, murdered, kidnapped, etc......
you can't count on the police to try to save you because obviously they can't be there before it happens to stop it from happening, unlike that movie. the only thing standing between you and bad things, is your own self and what you have to protect you and your family..
yeah, it happens to say 1 out of maybe 10,000 people/familys but do you want to be that 1?????? i sure don't.

i HAVE A SMALL QUESTION,to obtain a full carry concealed weopons
permit in the state of NC without a reason for it other then the 2nd amendment what is the liklehood of this??If anyone here has the answer it would be appreciated.I realize this is a general question so just a general answer is okay but i will follow the proper channels to get the answer but anyone with the occasion of going through this would be appreciated.
I already have permits in other states and am a law obeying citizen with the proper safety courses in place. thanks in advance.
