Default Cary/Apex developments that have traditional base schools

Hi all

In an attempt to cut through clutter, we are looking for input on developments that only have traditional calendar year base schools (we are not interested in year-round schools). Here are a couple of specific desires:

1. home size: 3,500 - 4,000 sq feet
2. Lot size: Doesn't really matter, but I would prefer not to be able to reach out and touch someone...
3. 4-5 BR, bonus room, basement, 3 car garage (doesn't have to have all of these, but some combo would be great...
4. Relatively safe from the anticipated I-540 project
5. Community center, pool.
6. Price = in and around 575 - 600K give/take

I work from home, so there is no commute to a job.

Any thoughts from current or potential homeowners?

Thanks!

Glenkirk and Highland Oaks come to mind. They are both walkable to Weatherstone Elementary so I would think (although there's no guarantee) the probability of reassignment is pretty low. Highland Oaks has some great lots (although no three car garages) and a nice neighborhood pool.
