It does flower but we can't remember what the flower looks like.

Yes! That's it. Thank you so much. It is taking over our yard so my husband wanted to find out how to control it but we couldn't remember what it was called.

also called monkey grass and it usually just gets denser clumps and doesn't spread too much. easy to divide and transplant at any time of the year, has puple flowers and pretty purple berries and yes you could sell it if you put an ad on craigs list or some gardening forum. are you sure you wanto get rid of it. a great border plant and has few pests and require little care.

We don't want to get rid of it. My husband wanted to find out what it was called so that he could do some research on the internet as he wants to find a way to stop it invading his lawn.
