Thursday nights at North Hills in Raleigh..... (Star: 2009, movie theater)

Hi,
Now that the weather is warm,I heard that at North Hills they have live music on Thursday nights. I was wondering has anybody checked this out. Is it worth going? How is the crowd and do they have good bands?

Music? I can't imagine anything big being held there as there's no real open space for anything big. Nothing like the NC Symphony at Regency Park.

I have not gone, but there is an open "square" next to the Starbucks where they set up bands on Thursday nights. From pictures I have seen it looks like the crowd flows over into the area in front of the Movie theater. You can check out the music schedule at the North Hills Website

They setup a small stage on the square and let them do their thing. This year I think they are doing beach music, last year it was more eclectic.

The crowds last year were mild, a lot of kids and families. It is comparable to weekend night.

It is nice to sit outside at Fox and Hound, have a drink, do some people watching and listen.
