I am in southwest Raleigh (between NCSU and Cary), and am NOT interested in driving up to North or East Raleigh or RTP/Morrisville. Cary/Garner are OK.
The AAA place near me has a horrible BBB rating, and there is a place called "Choice Auto Repair" also nearby that was mentioned on city-data.com, but the BBB apparently does not have enough information to report a meaningful record.
I have a Hyundai with a lot of miles that needs at least two items of routine maintenance and a check of the timing belt and transmission fluid. This is my first car (used) and my first service trip, so I am particularly susceptible to getting ripped off! Being new to the city does not help either. Thanks in advance for any and all advice!
My wife has been taking her car to a place on Trinity, near 54. Normally I wouldn't recommend the shop to someone with a Hyundai as I always see BMW, Mercedes, VW, and Audis in the lot -- indicating that they specialize in German cars -- but there was a Toyota there the other day. Can't hurt to ask. . . . right?
