You might try the food network website to see when it will be shown again or they may have a link to it.

Comments after watching the episode:

The quality of ribs Ed was using was way better than Bobby's. Ed raising his own pigs obviously makes a difference. I was surprised that Ed cooks his ribs with high heat and fast cooking times and can still get his ribs to be tender. How does he do that?

I can't believe Bobby serve ribs at his Bar American restaurant and made such awful looking ribs, especially his first batch in the test kitchen.

My little boy and I just got back from The Pit. Had to eat in the bar because the place was PACKED. I had the Carolina style ribs for the first time and they were top notch. The chopped cue was great as always and the barbecue chicken was fall of the bone. What a fantastic place. The collard greens are off the chain. Now a need a nap. My 6 year old ate an adult plate of cue. I was darn proud.

Check the tv guide because most Food Network shows rerun many times during the week. I'm sure this will be on over the weekend, I just don't have access now to the listings.

LOL! We moved back when my son was 7 and when he ate his first adult plate of cue my hubby had to take a before and after photo to send to all his friends. And yes, I remember a nap taking place after that.

And as far as Bobby Flay goes, if his PA did his/her research then he had to have known he was going to get his pants beat off on this particular contest w/ Ed Mitchell.

Hey guys,

I just wanted to make one thing straight!!

Ed Mitchell is not from Raleigh....he is a Wilson man. He started off in Wilson... with Mitchell's BBQ many, many years ago...but got in some trouble...not sure what kind. But I here it was gambling (could be wrong)

Anyway...Mitchell's BBQ in Wilson closed...but is supposed to re-open soon...with a cooking school included.

Everyone knows wilson is the BBQ capital of NC....and Wilson is where ED Mitchell got his start.

It's not where you're from, it's where you're at

I'm sure the people in Lexington don't know that. And I thought Mitchell's problems in Wilson were tax-related?
