I think Charlton Dude is paid by City Data to keep us coming back to see what new crazy thing he's said. Or maybe City Data has created this character called "Charlton Dude" who is the lovable wacky wingnut who will keep us all a-posting and turn each of his threads into 5 pages.
Hmmm....look at the initials.

DANG IT. I can't repeat rep you. Great post. You know, once upon a time many people thought slavery was acceptable, but history shows us our mistakes. I wonder how long until people realize that killing a baby simply because the mother doesn't want it, is not the "right" thing to do, especially when there are other options that can solve both issues. There can be a win win situation, but a lot of people make money off of killing human life, without regard to the babies rights or the mothers emotional state after she realizes what she just did.

I thought it was somewhat humorous until he said that it was karma that the doctor was murdered. After that, all bets are off.

Gee, I am happy I am not one of those liberals.
Speaking of irony, I am appalled by the conservatives who are pro-life yet pro-death penalty.
Dr. Tiller didn't "snuff the breath out of children." Children are human beings that have been born. Dr. Tiller was performing a legal, medical act. Having just read the transcripts of "Roe v Wade," the arguments in front of SCOTUS was this:
a) Sarah Weddington, attorney for Roe, attempted to make the case that the 14th Amendment ("...nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law) provided the fact that Ms. Roe was allowed the choice of what to do with her body, based on such "liberty." Therefore, that usage of liberty gave Ms. Roe the privacy to do what she wanted with her body during a medical act.) Ms. Weddington also alluded to the 9th Amendment, which the U.S. Court of Appeals used as reference to the split decision of Roe v Wade.
b) Jay Floyd & Robert Flowers, attorneys for the State, attempted to make the case that it was up to the state legislature to make the laws according to the choices of any woman, referring to the 1854 Texas law that prohibited a woman from having an abortion unless the woman's life was endangered. In the end, Mr. Flowers could state neither case law or a part of the Constitution that a fetus was a person.
c) The most important part of the decision and majority statement authored by Justice Blackmun was that he divided the pregnancy into trimesters and concurrently gave the states more and more power depending on the trimester of the woman.
So in the end, don't blame Dr. Tiller. Blame the state of Kansas.
(Information from this post came from the book "May it Please the Court..." by Peter Irons & Stephanie Guitton and from my personal copy of the Constitution of the United States.)

One of my product lines is ultrasound machines. If you saw an 8 month old on one of the new machines, you might just change your mind. Also, our great leader Lord Barry voted for and approves of allowing doctors to murder a child after a botched abortion. Talking about sick, twisted and demented. There are no words for such a vile act.

I am a fiscal conservative and I am against abortion, the death penalty and I am anti-war. I was against the war that POTUS Bush started, which was what got me on the Obama band wagon originally. Then I fell off when I realized he was pandering to everyone. Now that he has flip flopped on Iraq and has decided to leave 30k to 50k troops there as McCain originally suggested, is now expanding another intrusive war in Afghanistan and launching attacks into Pakistan killing innocent people, I am very discouraged. It seems that no matter where you turn, people are killing.

If there was a health issue with the mother, they could easily save that baby. They do not need to kill it. Why are liberals so anxious to kill the baby, when they can still be saved? Doesn't that go against everything they claim to be for? These are viable babies that we could save, but they want them killed instead.

Never mind that, what about the ones that are supposedly "pro-life" yet support sending our 18-year-olds off to DIE in a foreign war against a country that did not attack us? Yeah, "thou shalt not kill"--unless it's a soldier, I guess.

How many of these children have you adopted? 2? 3? 4? None?

i am opposed to the war. It was a mistake and we should not be there. Of course I support our troops. They are an all volunteer force. War kinda goes with the territory. And the object of war is to break things and kill people.
