Hi all. My Dad and Stepmom are visiting this weekend, staying in Raleigh and are taking a ride to Clayton tomorrow morning to see me and have breakfast? Anyone have any recommendations in or near Clayton? Somewhat healthy would be great too.

Hmmmmm...healthy and breakfast in the same sentence in North Carolina? I am not sure if it has been done..

I kind of like that one on Main Street...I think it is only open until 1 or 2 in the afternoon.

Jones Cafe is it?? Classic greasy spoon--but great food...

That is the second recommendation I got for Jones. Sounds like a winner. Keep em coming.

Biscuitville is very good, although probably not in the healthy category.

We like the one on 42 near the 40 interchange and right next to the Lowes home improvement store. They dont have a hugh menu, all the good breakfast standards of course, everything is fresh, great pancakes and the store is fun to look through before or after eating.

With healthy becoming optional, try the Toot and Tell on Garner Road in Garner.
