We have a 15 year old home that has a gas insert fireplace. The surround and hearth are marble and I really want to replace them. I'd be happy with just something standard and black.

I hoping someone else here has done something similar and can recommend stores where I can buy he surrounds etc. (assuming they make replacements for these things). I guess the other option is to higher some sort of mason or tiler but I am looking for a quick DIY solution. Not sure what it would costs to higher a tradesman to do it... I have enough other projects I can higher out for right now, if this is something easily DIY then I'd like to attempt it.
Thanks!

+1 for Brandco.

And you might be able to get one of the techs to do it on his own time, for small labor cost.
