Who do you go through around here - AT&T? Bell South? What if any options company-wise do I have? Thx

BellSouth is no more. They are part of AT&T.
Verizon services some areas, but I believe they are selling that business.
TWC offers its digital phone service, which is what I use. Although I have had many problems with TWC's cable service, their phone service has been rock solid for me.

We have Verizon but yeah, they've apparently sold their landline business so someone else will be managing it in the future.

I have Embarq, formerly Sprint. Good service, horrible customer service. It's all based on the neighborhood you live in. You could go to www.whitefence.com and put in your address and you'll get all of the options that service your address.

Does MJ now have 919 numbers? I signed up for them when they first came out and they had very limited phone numbers and none in this area.

Just plugged ours in and it is super!
$40 initial and 20 every year after...get the pre paid 5 year plan for like $60ish??
Cheaper than digital and NO monthly fees....
Plus we can take it with us and call from our laptop when connected to internet of from family or friends and still have our phone number on the other end caller ID...
They have most of North Carolina's area codes..but LIMITED on the exchange (prefix).we are in Zebulon and choose a Raleigh prefix...
