Default Cleveland (40/42) Area Schools

Can anyone give me feedback on the schools in this area? Specifically, we're looking for input on Cleveland Middle but would also like to hear about Cleveland Elem and HS as well. We're looking to move to the Johnston County area over the summer. Thanks!

All get great ratings on GreatSchools.com. I live in the area, however do not have children at those schools, but ALL of my neighbors rave about Cleveland Elem. and Cleveland Middle....and W. Johnston High School gets rave reviews as well.
A new High School is being built for 2010 so some kids in the 40/42 area will go there.

Its a wonderful area...we love it here.

Cleveland High school may be opening a little later....depending on how the budget $$ flow from Raleigh.

Cleveland Elementary and Polenta Elementary are both very good and highly rated by most parents..

Our kids go to Polenta Elem. Dh's brother and sister's kids go to Cleveland Elem. Both are great schools. We're all really happy with the schools in the area, and they are rated pretty high.

Thanks for the feedback so far.....when we looked Cleveland Middle up on greatschools.net, it scored a '9'. However, there were only 3 actual reviews and 2 of those were pretty negative. That's why we were looking for more input. Some said the principal was not very involved and very standoff-ish toward parents.

From all I have heard and read West View elementary, Cleveland middle and West Johnston are the choice schools in the county.
