Default Dunkin Donuts on Glenwood?

A Dunkin Donuts is now in on Glenwood (upper) by Bojangles and the gas station/car wash (in Furniture Row). Is that new, or haven't I been paying attention?

Yeah, I just came from there a little while ago. It's been open for over a week, but the "grand opening" is on Monday. Pretty clever, since most people will be getting paid on the 15th.

I wonder why the Jamaican restaurant plans fell through for that location.

When I saw the title of the OP, I thought it was referring to the Dunkin Donuts in Glenwood South. That one too is pretty new.

Is that one still open? Read this awhile back and though it weird that it would already be closing...haven't heard any updates since.

To close to Krispy Kreme. KK has a stronghold in the in-town neighborhoods.

I believe that...I much prefer KK (chocolate glazed) to anything at DD. I miss living in Mordecai and driving by/smelling the donuts everyday) But to have a store close so soon after opening seemed crazy.
So it did close?

I like KK as well as a good cake donut, but went to the DD in Glenwood South a couple times and the donuts were dry and pretty tasteless, even in the morning. Keep hearing people rave about DD, but the two I have been to (this one and one in Chicago) were terrible. I remember going to one growing up that made great cake donuts (with the little handle!)..has something changed?

LOL! I was standing at the gas station filling up my tank and looked over thinking to myself if ever I saw that place before. I was asking myself, "Why do you want to buy a donut now when you've been here a million times never noticing the place!?" Well, now I know. It's new. And it seems they were closing at midnight on Friday. Don't know their hours, though.
