Guys, I'm just asking about the added (or not) value to the neighborhood from a realtor's perspective.

No increase in assessments, reserves are more than well funded, insurance issue has already been handled, etc.

Thanks for your time and help.

My neighborhood has both a nice play ground and a picnic area.

We love the play ground. I have a 2 and 4 year old and we go there 2 or 3 times a week. They both love it. The biggest plus is we often see neighbors there and the 4 year old likes see his friends.

As for the picnic shelter, we have had a few of our birthday parties (and others) in the shelter. It is nice, but I think I could easily do without.

So, nice neighborhood playground is a big plus. Picnic shelter is nice, but it would not sway me if I was buying a new house.

I'd say it WILL add value, based on what I have seen in Bedford, Falls River and Heritage. All have playgrounds and people seem to really like these amenities.
