Buying and selling?
Has anyone used the 'For Sale By Owner' services? Either looking to buy, or used it to sell a house? If so, have you had good results.
I have checked the sites but didn't find any houses in my area in either catagory on there, and there are plenty of houses out there for sale. I like the idea, this way the buyer and seller can gain by not having to pay the high realtor commision, but I don'twant to throw good money away if very few people check or use the service.  |

Before I bought the house I am in, I sold our townhouse FSBO. It was a very positive experience for both us and the buyer. I was able to get the price I needed to sell, and the buyers saved some money because I was able to cut off the top what a realtor would get. They buyer spoke to us directly, so there was no 3rd party and no miscommunications.
