This restaurant will be opening next week at the American Tobacco Campus next week. I'm planning to dine at the place in a few weeks, after they work out the "new restaurant" kinks. If anyone swings by before, please, post a review!

I went to the website to see the menu, and found out that they have a couple of locations in Providence, RI so a review from anyone who has visited the Rhode Island locations is welcome as well... just make sure to keep it local by making references to the ATC location.

Thanks!

It opens today... I won't be there, but I thought I would 'bump' the thread up a bit so that those who do go will be able to tell the rest of us all about it! Cheers!

Seems like an unfortunate name for a restaurant in the USA.

I was there for about an hour. The place itself is very cool, and definitely a step up from the mediocre Symposium Cafe that was there before.

They gave out samples of just a few of their menu items, but the rest of the fare was standard party-type finger foods (cheese, crackers, etc.) Samples of frozen mojitos along with some various wines and beers were available, too. The mojito was decent, but I'm kind of a purist in that regard (just rum, sugar, and mint on the rocks, please.)

I can't really judge the food from last night's event since what they'll be serving on a daily basis will be quite different, so I'm planning to go back within the next couple of weeks to get the real scoop on that. The couple of samples that I did have were pretty tasty, though.

I'm looking forward to giving this a try. Maybe I'll go on Monday or Tuesday.

Edit, here is the website in case anyone wants to check the menu out: Cuban Revolution

Don't worry - they have a full bar. The cocktails just aren't shown on their food menu.

Wink Not bad at all!

I really miss the Cuban food from Brooklyn... I stopped by the Cuban Revolution on the way home from work.

SEVEN WORDS FOR YOU: Portabello mushroom with assiago cheese EMPANADA- DELICIOUS. OMG! The empanada filling was so juicy that I literally had juice dripping down the side of my mouth (not a pretty picture). Servers were nice and attentive- I really hope that this place stays around for awhile!

Just got back from lunch there... The service was slow, the kitchen slower, but the food great. I've worked in the "biz" before, so I know any new place has some kinks to work out. If they keep churning out such good food, they'll be fine.
